Meet Lily: An Adoptable Carolina Dog

Lily is a two year old spayed female Carolina Dog that needs to find a new home. Her family has loved her since she was just seven weeks old, but now must re-home their baby due to an impending move. Please consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful girl!

Origin: Originally from Tennessee but now lives in CT with her current family. She was just seven weeks old when she was found.

Description: Lily weighs almost 50 pounds and is buff in color. She has nice pricked ears and even some unique spotting on her tongue. She has a short coat.

Temperament: Very typical of a Carolina Dog. Lily loves to dig and den. She’s also very shy and reserved around strangers and needs a quiet home with adults. Her family reports she’s very intelligent and was easy to train.

Good with kids? Cats? Other Dogs? Lily has a few kids in her current pack that she’s good with but is intimidated by other rowdy children. She is okay with cats she knows but will give chase to new ones. Lily is wonderful with other dogs- her current best buddy is a tiny Lhasa Apso and she plays so gentle.

Health: Lily is extremely healthy! She’s UTD on vaccines, de-wormings, and is already spayed.

Why is she being re-homed?

Lily’s current family have an impending move and worry their new environment will not be the best for their quiet girl. If you’d like to learn more about Lily, see additional photos, or have any questions- PLEASE don’t hesitate to email me at CDRCPinfo@gmail.com or her owners at Christine.Cwynar@pfizer.com and/or Cwynar@mac.com
